Lange`s Cafe in Pipestone

Only had malts and pie but it was very good. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Loved this diner! Best coleslaw I've ever had and then it got better from there. I wasn't brave enough to try something from the bakery but it all looked delicious.

Excellent main courses and desserts. Fries were great. A few of our side dishes were rather plain. If you follow what the restaurant is known for, you will be pleased.

Roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes was fork tender. Home town atmosphere. Friendly service. Nice people.

So-so experience here, staff was very friendly and obviously cared about us and us having a good experience. But very long waits.. over an hour before we got our food.. food itself was ok, pretty basic diner fare. Oatmeal was bland, waffle was ok (appreciated that they remade it before they even brought it to us since they said it had already gotten cold).. it seems like they don’t have enough staff here.. vibes and history of the restaurant are neat though.

I'm from out of town, but they were so incredibly friendly, and I really wish that I could have been there when there was not a pandemic. The lady who gave me my takeout food was super sweet (just like everyone else in this great town). The french toast was really good, and my friend enjoyed her chocolate chip waffles. I'll have to make another trip in the future to try out the rest of the menu!

We had read that Lange's had a new owner, so were looking forward to getting back to a favorite small town cafe to see if anything had changed. The good news is that we needn't have worried. The breakfast menu was the same as was the quality of the food. The servers were the same nice people we remembered from previous visits. The bacon is a highlight of any breakfast at Lange's for us. All in all, just as good as ever!

This place is an absolute gem! The Sunday ham special was so great and our waitress was so friendly! When I am passing through Pipestone again, this will definitely be my go-to spot! I highly recommend it you are looking for a unique experience!
